Hi, I am trying to set a feature header image on a page. I did not put it in the content. I only clicked Set Featured Image Button. It first appears where I want it, directly under the menu….However on other pages, I may put it above the menu. Either way I don’t know why it appears twice on the page.
Thanks for your help
Here is a link to view – http://174.120.232.226/~masterja/dev/testc/July 22, 2013 at 10:06 am #12207SakinKeymaster@Bethann: Featured image in controlled through two sections. 1. You can change settings from “Appearance => Theme Options => Header Featured Image Options”. and 2. You can do individual page/post settings from your page/post “Catch Everest Options” meta box, where you will see “Content Featured Image Size”.
July 22, 2013 at 10:46 am #12212BethannParticipantThank you for responding. I am aware of the two places to make the changes. Apparently I am doing something wron.g
Header Featured Image Options
I have selected
Enable Featured Header Image – ENTIRE SITE, PAGE/POST FEATURED IMAGE
Page/Post Featured Image Size – FULL IMAGE
Featured HeaderImage Position – AFTER MENUOn the Test Page I chose
Sidebar Layout – NO SIDEBAR, FULL WIDTH
Content Featured Image Size – FULL IMAGEAnd then I inserted image through the Set Featured Image button
The content header image appears correctly – but there is also the same image just below that in the content area.
What step did I do incorrectly?
July 22, 2013 at 10:58 am #12213SakinKeymaster@Bethann: You have activate Featured Image in Both section. In the header as well as in the content. That is why you have images in two places.
If you want to remove in the content section then on your test page. choose
Content Featured Image Size – “Default Layout Set in Theme Options”.July 22, 2013 at 11:12 am #12214BethannParticipantWell I did try that option before – and I just chose it again now…yet I still have the two images appearing. Any other ideas?
July 22, 2013 at 11:19 am #12216SakinKeymaster@Bethann: I just did that in my server and it is working fine. I need to check in your site admin to see it in details. Have you customize any code. I will email you and then you can send me the access.

In the Theme Options – Header Featured Image Options
I have selected:
Enable Featured Header Image – ENTIRE SITE, PAGE/POST FEATURED IMAGE
Page/Post Featured Image Size – FULL IMAGE
Featured HeaderImage Position – AFTER MENUIn the Test Page Settings – Content Featured Image Size
I have selected:
Default Layout Set in Theme OptionsWith these settings I have a featured image showing up both as a featured header image and as a featured image as apart of the content.
I am working locally so I don’t have a URL to share.
Thanks you for your help.
August 13, 2013 at 11:29 am #13101SakinKeymaster@s-design: If you are locally then can you share with me your screenshots with the explanation. I will try to work how I can help you with it and which version you are using it.
August 13, 2013 at 2:09 pm #13117s-designMemberHi Sakin, I think I figured it out. I didn’t realize that if I turn ON the header featured image and turn OFF the content featured image — both in the theme options, then I don’t get a double image. It only displays my content featured image AS the header featured image. That solves my problem.
