I use Catch-Box Theme for many Years. Thank you. It worked for Years.

Today i made Theme-Update.

Result:

Fatal error: Can't use function return value in write context in /www/htdocs/w0093c97/wp-content/themes/catch-box-fehler/functions.php on line 836

No WordPress, no Admim-Area. Only this Error.

WordPress ist currently.

I use a current default Theme at the moment. Because CatchBox unfortunately dosen´t work.

Can you help me?

I have a similar problem after upgrading Catch Box to version 4.3.4.

Hi @kigazw and @baneff,

This is an issue in the theme when nothing is saved in the post slider id in “Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Featured Slider=> Slider Options”. For now as a temporary solution put 0 in #1 Featured Post ID and save it. We are working to fix the issue. It will be fixed in the next issue.

Hello Mahesh!

I have the same problem but i can’t get to “Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Featured Slider=> Slider Options” because the site crashes as soon as i activate Catch Box. Is there something i can change in functions.php to get the theme up and running again?

Rename /wp-content/themes/catch-box to catch-box1 or whatever name you feel like. WordPress will then use another theme.

Hi, I can´t resolve the problem with the link that you sent. I don’t know how to fix it. I tried to install it several times but nothing happened. Sorry for my english. This appears when I logging:

Hi @martha,

Since you are not able to access your site, you’ll need to follow one of the following:
1. Contact your server and restore your site’s last running state
2. Access the file through FTP and rename the theme folder catch-box to some other name and your site will automatically use other installed theme. Then you can access your site.
3. With FTP access you can replace the your old catch-box theme folder with the updated version found in link below:
bit.ly/catchbbox435
Note: For manually installing using FTP, please follow the instruction in the LINK
