When I go to my site travel.halfnote2.com I see a good start on what I’m after. But when I go under dashboard and go to pages to begin to modify it there is no such creature called front page or home page etc. There is a privacy policy page and a sample page page only. I’m totally lost as what to do next. There is a Hello world post under posts. None of these are the page I see when I got to the website. I’ve been messing around with word press for many years but consider myself still a novice yet but this has me totally baffled.

Currently you seem to have selected your Homepage Settings in the customizer as Your latest posts which will displayed all the posts in your homepage.

If you select Homepage Settings as A static page you will need to select a page as your Homepage.

Let me know if you are still confused about the Frontpage settings.
