    I wish to disable comments completely on Simple Catch. I am using WordPress to construct a website and I know that Comments will neither be required or encouraged. I looked at the Comments.PHP file and there was nothing jumped out at me by way of an easy edit. In any case, I would prefer to receive clear guidance from the support here before I do anything. So far anything I’ve picked up from this support forum has been 100 per cent accurate and clear. Excellent Support!

    @donal.leader: If you want to edit the template and remove the comment function. Then you need to build child theme and edit the file content-sidebar-full.php, content-sidebar-left.php, content-sidebar-right.php where you can just comment out comments_template().

    But you can also disable the comment without editing core theme files from setting. See this http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/
