I love my Decree Pro as for the layout. The Google speedtest might make me switch away from it though, even after most of the possible adjustments the site still scores ‘Poor’ (mobile 48/laptop 52). Anyone with bright ideas?

@edkomduur : Please try adding some caching plugins and try optimizing your images. If you have unnecessary plugins, try removing them. Let me know if you have any further issues.

Thanks Tikaram, i did all that you suggested. I even broke down the complete site, built one up again under the same conditions, using the free Nirvana thema. This lead to no problems regarding the transfer speed. After that I managed my hosting supplier to move my domain up to a higher class PHP serving environment, which lead to a speed improvement.
Since I like the Decree Pro thema though, i set up another version of my website in this theme and: voilà, problem’s back. Since having tried all variables, the key speed problem seems to be in the uploading part (‘live view’) of the Customizer. That part allows me t go and make coffee or cook dinner during each uploading session.
I’m still forcing my website building activity through a very narrow timeline pipe, so I really hope you can manage to speed up the uploading part of my favorite theme. Thanks in advance for looking at and working on it.
