Is it possible to change the navigation? It seems it is based on id-nr but in my case it has to be on event date. Unfortunately I was forced to disable it.
    Example
In my event overview the ordering is correct.

@klikblik: The post order is by date, you can check this in the blog list page. Are you using any plugin for the events. Seems the plugin is putting the events based on id.

Hello Mahesh, I contacted the helpdesk of the plugin (event espresso) and this is what they find out:

“The next and previous links displayed on those posts are not from Event Espresso but your theme, they use the Posts ID to determine what should be displayed next/previous and are not organized by the Event date so it’s the order in which the events were created those links display the events in.”

I enabled the single nav again because it’s not user friendly when it’s missing. But now the order is incorrect.

Is there a way to change the order to event date?

    Example previous/next (vorige/volgende)

    Thanks again,
    Jolanda

@klikblik: The posts are ordered by published date by default. If you want to change the order by event date, you’ll need to customize it further since the event date is from plugin. I recommend you to hire a custoimzer.

    Regards,
    Mahesh
