    My attempt to code for a child theme (for Chicago) failed. Then I downloaded your zip file (https://catchthemes.com/blog/create-child-theme-wordpress/) and updated the function file and that didn’t quite work. Then I copied the functions from another site’s child theme and that worked. I’m not an expert but I thought I would let you know that I think something is not quite right. No rush, take care.

    @lkvanz: Sorry for the issue. All those zip files are partner WordPress plugin development team have released Generate Child Theme plugin. Please use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/generate-child-theme/

    We have just removed all the zip files from that blog post. Thanks.
