I’m having an issue with my Blog page, which I’ve chosen as the one to display excerpts of my posts rather than the home page.

When you click on the blog page, it shows a 404 error. It does not show excerpts. I do have several published posts, but you can’t access them via the Blog page option.

Can you let me know what are the pages selected in Dashboard=> Settings=> Reading=> Front page displays? You need to have your Blog Page selected in Posts page.

I have the correct pages checked. Blog page is selected for posts. This is the reason for my question. I’ve never had this problem with any theme I’ve worked with. I utilize WP a lot in what I do.

Can you try changing the theme to default twenty-x themes and see if the problems persist?

Just wanted to say that I found the solution for this! Yay! lol

It was just a setting that I failed to fix.
