Running Chicago Pro 2.8.1 and hosted on HostGator.

Had some site issues when WP upgraded to 6.2 and had issues logging in – Host Gator said it was an issue with the theme so they rolled WP version back to 6.1.1 and we were able to log in and all is good.

This was from HostGator support ————

While troubelshooting, I noticed that the WordPress version is updated to 6.2. After review of different reports, we are seeing premium WordPress themes causing compatibility errors after updating to WordPress version 6.2.

It is advisable to reach out to the theme developer to investigate and assist with the issue if you want to continue using the theme with WordPress version 6.2. In many cases, theme developers release patches or updated version of their themes after major core WP updates.

In the meantime, I have update the WordPress Version back to 6.1 and also disabled auto update for WordPress. If the site was automatically updated, then it will be updated again as WordPress’ auto update script runs every 24 hours.

@pssmike : Can you please try deactivating all plugins for testing purpose and upgrading to 6.2.
If the issues still persists after deactivating all plugins then you can confirm that the issues is caused by the theme. I have tested the theme with the latest version of WordPress and I don’t seem to find any issues at my end. Please follow the link below to know more about plugin conflicts with our themes.
