When I first began posting I was inserting images directly into my posts, which only show up on the post page. Then I discovered the Featured Image option and began attaching the same image there so that it would also show up on my home page with the post excerpt. However, today I’ve discovered that the featured image is also now showing up, in a much larger version, in the post itself, so that in each post there is a large version of the image directly above the smaller one that has always been there. How can I get rid of this larger duplicate image?
