    Hi,

    How do I enter the alt image tag for the homepage featured slider images? I tried using the title, but that didn’t work.

    How can I move the featured image slider further down the page? Or put it on a different page altogether?

    @YC-Capilia: Which Slider type have you select in Slider Options. In Catch Everest Pro theme, you can select slider type as “Image Slider”. Then you can upload your image and add in title. That title will be added as image alt tag.

    Hello Sakin,
    I see that when I put text in the title it then shows up as the alt image tag. However I already have quite a few words on the slide and don’t need to use the title box. The correct alt image info has already been input when I uploaded the image to the media library. How do I get that to show without using the Title box on the theme slider options?

    @Paul: Sorry I don’t see featured slider in your site. So, I am confused what are you trying to do it.

    @YC-Capilia: Sorry there is no other easy way to add alt tag in your image slider. So, what I suggest you is to add that title and then hide it by adding the following css in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box:
    #main-slider .entry-container { display: none; }

    But if you don’t want to do this then you need to build child theme. For child theme refer to http://catchthemes.com/blog/create-child-theme-wordpress/ and then copy catcheverest_image_sliders() function to your child theme functions.php file and add it manually.

    Yes I have the featured post slider on disable. I simply want to move it down on the home page. Like the bottom of the page. Or use it on another page besides the home page.

    @Paul: Sorry there is no option to do that. For slider you can either add it in homepage or entire site. there is no option to change the position of slider. For that you need to build child theme, edit in your child theme functions.php file
