Page title issue + Allow editor access to Header Media title?

Hi,

First there’s a glitch on https://aligningwithsoul.com which is making it so the Home page title won’t stay hidden. The box in the page editor keeps getting unchecked. It’s creating an unattractive nuisance. Is there a fix for it?

Then there’s a bit of a challenge… the website owner is tech-challenged and wants to be able to change the Header Media title by himself. I’m trying to keep him out of the Customizer because the results could be disastrous. I know there are plugins which address role capabilities but don’t believe any are capable of such a specific change. Can you help me to find a solution?
