    Hello again (soulsharpen.com). I don’t mean to bother, and I did spend most of my day earnestly trying to resolve the two challenges I’m posting now. On the other hand, you’ve been exceptionally helpful for me in the past, and can probably resolve my issues in moments where it would take me days.

    The first challenge that I have so far been unable to overcome is to remove the social media sharing icons from posts, so that the only ones visible are the ones from a plugin.

    I’ve tinkered but just couldn’t get it figured out.

    @pennsavage: I just check in your site and see that post the social media icons in your posts are not from our theme. One I found that you have added from “Simple Share Buttons Adder” plugin and another from Sharethis script.

    The simple share ones are the ones I want to keep. The colored ones directly below them, which were the ones that were there before I installed the simple share plugin, are the ones I want to eliminate.

    @pennsavage: But the color ones are from Sharethis script and we haven’t added this our theme. Who did this site for your. Looks like he/she have added that script in your site. So, we cannot do anything to remove that. So, search for that customize code. Looks like you have that code in content-single.php file. Compare you code with http://themes.svn.wordpress.org/catch-evolution/1.8.2/content-single.php file.

    If you cannot find it then you need to delete your customized theme and install the fresh one. We only have social icons in that you have in Header Right Sidebar. Not on any post for share.

    You’re completely right of course. Thank you so much, I apparently forgot that they were there as a result of a plugin. Different plugin from the second set.
