    Hello Skandha,

    Sorry if I was a little bit curt in my last reaction.
    I started all over with the homepage featured slider.
    Got him finally working now.

    My question is, is it possible to remove the transparent layer with text from the slides?
    I have entered a search in the FAQ and here in the forum but cannot find any results.

    @marebos: Hello Mare,
    Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

    #slider-wrap .featured-text {
    background: unset !important;
}

    Let me know if this works out!
