    Hello Mahesh,

thank you. But unfortunately this is not the reason. Of course we have translated versions of the same posting in German AND English (i.e. see the posting https://blog.bissantz.de/en/are-you-a-controlling-superstar/)
But the theme won’t show the postings on both german and english homepages.

If I select the english category of this posting to be shown on the homepage it will be shown on the english homepage – BUT I get an error on the german homepage although there is a german translation of this posting.

If I switch to customize the german postings and select the category to be displayed on the german homepage it works only on german homepage. Finally I get an 404 error on the english homepage.

As I described in my former comments I’ve checked on the live system and on our stage system several catch themes. I want to explain in detail what I’ve figured out:

    1. When I activate a new Catch Theme everything seems ok as long as I do nothing. On both homepages (german and english) there are postings listed.

    2. If I go from the english WordPress Backend to design->customizer->theme options->hompage/frontpage options there is nothhing selected in the multiselect area, this is ok.

    3. As soon as I select a certain category postings of this category will be shown on the english homepage – BUT the german homepage shows an 404. I want to point out that the categories also translated of each other.

    4. If I want to get the untouched option again (that I had directly after activation of the themme) and deselect all categories in the multiselect field it has no effect – the error 404 remains either on the english or on the german homepage.

It seems that I can’t select a certain category: EITHER I get an 404 error on german OR n english homepage.
The only way is to reset all settings of the theme.

I would kindly ask you to look for the error again.

Thank you in advance. Kind regards.

    Hi Mahesh,
the WPML support have checked out the problem on our live system and say:

“It seems that this is a problem with theme. I checked quickly on your website as well and with Twenty Fifteen all posts are loaded.”

Have you got the credentials form our IT?

    Kind regards

    Hi Mahesh,

we’ve set up a stage of our live blog:
    http://blog.h2658927.stratoserver.net/

The problem still remains when I use Catch Base Pro. If I switch to Catch Responsive it seemed to work. On the german AND english Homepage there wewre displayed postings. But – after I selected via customizer a certain category I got an error 404, either on the german or on the english site.

It seems the same problem as already subitted here: https://catchthemes.com/support-forum/topic/problem-with-wpml/#post-112582

Now I installed Catch Adaptive. Because I didn’T change anything and I didn’t select any category in Frontpage options it seems to work. But I guess after you specify a certain category to be displayed you cause the same error 404.

Can I give you an access to check it?

    Kind regards
    Olaf

    Hi Sakin,

this is exactly my problem, see:https://catchthemes.com/support-forum/topic/translated-version-of-homepage-doesnt-show-postings-of-selected-categories/#post-112581

I have bought both catch theme pro and WPML
    Is there a solution?

    Thanx in advance
    Kind regards Olaf

    Hi Mahesh,

honestly I’m a litte bit afraid to do this because the site ist live.
    There is somethin unconsistant:

From the english WP admin -> Design -> Customizer -> Featured Content I see the translated categories and can define postings of certain categories to be displayed. Than these postings will be displayed.

From the english WP admin -> Design -> Customizer -> Theme options -> Homepage options I see the translated categories. The english homepage will be display those category postings, BUT on the german hommepage there is an error 404,

After that my category settings in the german WP admin -> Design -> Customizer -> Theme options -> Homepage are overwritten.

Please give an advice what to do?

    Hi Mahesh,

I just used a workaround and have set a header image with our logo and put set a link to the header image instead of a logo.
But its behavior and layout is not good.

I would prefer to use the logo functionality of the theme because the mobile layout and the the responsive layout at all is much better.
