Not sure if this helps, but when I’m editing the page and selecting the Featured Image, I get a smaller, preview image, which is normal. That smaller, preview image however looks like it has the same dimensions as the image in the actual header of the page.
Is it possible that rather than use my actual image, the page is coded to use the auto-generated preview image instead?
Just a thought.
July 10, 2018 at 5:42 am in reply to: Simple Persona Pro – Featured Image on Blog/Posts page #149081nomisParticipantUnfortunately, it’s the same image, uploaded at the same size. Nothing different.
Still, I tried it again, but the same thing happened.
Also, I’ve noticed that if I don’t have a Featured image set on the blog page, the page doesn’t default to Homepage Header image, even though I have it set to “Enable on: Entire Site, Page/Post Featured Image”. Instead, it’s blank. Not sure if that’s related to my main issue of the wrong size image, but I’m mentioning it just in case.
nomisParticipantActually, there’s still a problem.
If you follow the URL I initially provided…
…you’ll see there’s a new image there (good!) but the image is cropped (bad!). It SHOULD look like this:
http://strantzas.com/accolades/
But it doesn’t. It seems to be the only page on my site that’s affected.
nomisParticipantFigured it out. Thanks!
nomisParticipantNow that 1.2 is released, how do I upgrade to it? I tried through WordPress Admin, but it says the update is not available. Is this because my Catch account name and WordPress account name are different?
I can download from Catch, but I’m worried I will upload the update and it will remove all of my customization (not to the code, but the theme customization like colours and images).
nomisParticipantThis is the page I’m referring to:
