Question: the Featured Image of my Blog Page defaults to the Featured Image of the last post. Is there a way to select a static image that always displays?

    Thanks!

Now that 1.2 is released, how do I upgrade to it? I tried through WordPress Admin, but it says the update is not available. Is this because my Catch account name and WordPress account name are different?

I can download from Catch, but I’m worried I will upload the update and it will remove all of my customization (not to the code, but the theme customization like colours and images).

    Actually, there’s still a problem.

If you follow the URL I initially provided…

    http://strantzas.com/blog/

…you’ll see there’s a new image there (good!) but the image is cropped (bad!). It SHOULD look like this:

    http://strantzas.com/accolades/

But it doesn’t. It seems to be the only page on my site that’s affected.

@nomis: You seem to have uploaded a different image size in the blog page. Please re-upload the featured image in blog and check if the issue is resolved.

Let me know if the issue persists.
    Kind Regards,

Unfortunately, it’s the same image, uploaded at the same size. Nothing different.

Still, I tried it again, but the same thing happened.

Also, I’ve noticed that if I don’t have a Featured image set on the blog page, the page doesn’t default to Homepage Header image, even though I have it set to “Enable on: Entire Site, Page/Post Featured Image”. Instead, it’s blank. Not sure if that’s related to my main issue of the wrong size image, but I’m mentioning it just in case.

Not sure if this helps, but when I’m editing the page and selecting the Featured Image, I get a smaller, preview image, which is normal. That smaller, preview image however looks like it has the same dimensions as the image in the actual header of the page.

Is it possible that rather than use my actual image, the page is coded to use the auto-generated preview image instead?

    Just a thought.

@nomis: There was an issue with the Header Featured Image in the blog page. The issue has been resolved and will be updated in the next theme update.
Thank you for reporting us the issue.

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha
