    Almost there! The width and fixed position works. The header spans the full width and stays in position as the page scrolls.

    However, the site header now covers page titles and on the home page it covers part of the featured grid. I tried adding margin-bottom 30px to the selector but it didn’t work.

    Hi Sakin, well, slight delay in getting to this…

    I was interested in using the wordpress.com short code:

    [archives format=html] to get an unordered list of my client’s posts.

    the site is http://www.arthope.org

    I see there is an archives.php in the catchbox pro themes folder. If the wp.com shortcodes is not a solution you recommend, I am willing to make an archives.php page template.

    Is there documentation about this as it relates to catch themes?

    Yes, the update from 2.4 to 2.6 was the answer. The fix you mention is helpful as well.
