    Many thanks.

    As I said, I had already achieved this using Yoast. But thanks for the plugin. I’ve installed it and will try it as a first line of defence with any future issues.

    THANK YOU again,
    Finn

    Update:
    I have found a way to force this using Yoast plugin.

    If you know a way to set it in Catch Evolution that would be helpful also.

    Many thanks again.

    OK, Tikaram, this is the problem I now have:

    When I go to Appearance / Widgets and select one of my Text widgets:

    1) If I edit with Accessibility Mode turned off then I can edit but I cannot save my changes

    2) If I edit with Accessibility Mode turned on then I can save changes but I cannot edit

    Is this an issue with the Theme or wordpress?

    Thanks.

    PS
    When I go to Appearance / Widgets and then click “Manage with Live Preview” the live frame of the website does not scroll.

    Is this normal? Could this be the source of the problem?

    Thank you again.

    Hello Tikaram,

    Many thanks for your reply.

    I am glad the site is scrolling in Safari from your end. There must be an issue with my browser. (I have cleared the cache and cookies but the issue persists. If you have suggestions as to what else I could do I would be grateful.)

    I have disabled accessibility mode. It now works. Previously there was a message saying that I must enable accessibility mode. That has now gone so all seems fine.

    If you have suggestions as to how I might fix the issue in my browser that is preventing scrolling I would appreciate it.

    Many thanks again,
    Finn

    Supplementary information:

    The only thing I can think of that might have caused the issue is that I edited a TEXT WIDGET.

    From the Dashboard / Appearance / Widgets it is essential to Enable Accessibility Mode.

    Then if I click on one of the TEXT Widgets I find that am unable to Edit the text. All I can do is change the position or delete.

    So, instead I clicked on “Manage With Live Preview”.
    When I did this the live preview screen did not scroll.
    I assume this could be the source of the issue.

    1) Could this be the source of the issue?
    2) Is this functionality part of the Catch Evolution Theme?
    3) How do I get it back to how it was before?
    4) How do I edit Text Widgets in future?

    Many thanks again,
    Finn Jackson

    Hello Mahesh,

    I am currently using Safari. I have tried Chrome and as you say it works fine.

    But in Safari it is not working on these pages:
    http://thechurning.net/building-shared-purpose-starts-from-knowing-individual-purpose/
    “engage con-
    sumers and employees.””
    “customers and em-
    ployees”

    http://thechurning.net/dont-just-exercise-do-it-outside/
    “Aus-
    tralia is specifically exploring t”

    http://thechurning.net/life-and-music-by-alan-watts/
    “philosophy of lead-
    reship.”

    http://thechurning.net/why-david-bowie-matters-to-us/
    “Michael Jack-
    son, Nelson Mandela.”

    I suggest this is “just one of those things” that is not worth pursuing further.

    However, if you would like to understand why your theme is not working as wanted, these pages might give you some clues?

    Thanks again for your help.

    Thank you Mahesh,

    I have checked the site and found that it still auto-hyphenates.
    For example on this page
    http://thechurning.net/step-one-centre-and-ground-ourselves/

    there is but-
    feted by the waves and lead-
    reship in times of change.

    I use Wordfence Falcon Engine as a cache and have cleared that, but it has no effect.

    If you tell me that you visit the above page and do not see the hyphenation then I won’t take up any more of your time. But I would appreciate suggestions on why I am seeing what I am seeing and you are seeing something different.

    Many thanks again,
    Regards,
    Finn

    The full text in the Custom CSS is:

    .site {
    -moz-border-radius: 10px 10px 0 0;
    -webkit-border-radius: 10px 10px 0 0;
    border-radius: 10px 10px 0 0; /* future proofing */
    -khtml-border-radius: 10px 10px 0 0; /* for old Konqueror browsers */
    }
    #colophon { background-color: #696969; }
    #site-generator {
    -moz-border-radius: 0 0 15px 15px;
    -webkit-border-radius: 0 0 15px 15px;
    border-radius: 0 0 15px 15px; /* future proofing */
    -khtml-border-radius: 0 0 15px 15px; /* for old Konqueror browsers */
    }
    #content article {
    hyphens: none;
    }

    And Mahesh,
    Sorry, but I have pasted the code into the CSS and it has had no effect:

    Thanks Mahesh.

    Will I have to do this every time the Theme updates to a new version?

    Hello again,

    Also on the same page (second paragraph) notice how the word churn-
    ing has been automatically truncated / hyphenated, but looks stupid, since there is plenty of room for the whole word to appear.

    The only thing that the auto-hyphenation has achieved is to make the page harder to read and to look less professional.

    Thank you again :o)

    Update:
    I have been recommended to use the Edit Author Slug plugin, which seems to solve the problem:

    Reading this page: http://docs.pagelines.com/support-troubleshooting/common-issues

    I have navigated to View → Developer → JavaScript Console.

    and it shows me four times: “Failed to load resource: net::ERR_FAILED”

    And on the right side, there are five different messages:

    2chrome-extension://boadgeojelhgndaghljhdicfkmllpafd/cast_sender.js

    2chrome-extension://dliochdbjfkdbacpmhlcpmleaejidimm/cast_sender.js

    2chrome-extension://hfaagokkkhdbgiakmmlclaapfelnkoah/cast_sender.js

    2chrome-extension://fmfcbgogabcbclcofgocippekhfcmgfj/cast_sender.js

    2chrome-extension://enhhojjnijigcajfphajepfemndkmdlo/cast_sender.js

    I have no idea what cast_sender.js is

    Is this likely to be causing the problem?
    Can you advise?

    And now I am at a loss because the only extensions I have installed are:

    Adblock Plus (disabled for this site)
    Application Launcher for Drive (by Google)
    Google Docs
    TinEye Reverse Image Search

    I can’t imagine that any of them would interfere with the theme…

    And PS
    I realise they are called ‘extensions’ not add-ins.

    Not sure quite what you mean, but yes I have disabled Adblock and still have the problem. (Adblock was already disabled for this page.)

    What I meant was that something like Adblocker (which I have not yet disabled) must be interfering with the browser…

    If you can help that would be great.

    Otherwise it is mostly my problem (although you might like to know of browser add-ins that interfere with your theme).

    Sakin,
    Here is a post with two relevant screenshots and explanation:

    http://theeschercycle.com/two-screenshots-for-sakin/

    The problem does NOT replicate in my Safari browser, so my GUESS is that is an issue with something I have added to Chrome (eg Adblock Plus??), which also disables the hyperlinks in the second Post Title (and onwards)…

    Any help you can give to fixing this or suggesting where I might look to fix it would be most welcome.
