Thanks Skandha, the CSS worked for most of the things I asked about. Only outstainf things is when you hover over the featured image it shows “Featured Image-1” – Can you tell me how to get rid of this please?

I’m glad my explanation of the IE11 issue made sense and you’ve managed to see it yourself. Let me know if you need me to try anything to try to resolve the issue, as I’m happy to help.

    Thank you

I now have a screenshot for the homepage showing the chopped off image on a 15.6″ windows laptop:
BSAB home page with featured image chopped off on right

Also noticed another couple of issues – The featured image has a black dot in the centre at the bottom (I assume this is because I just have 1 slider image?). How can I get ride of this?
Here’s the screenshot of this: BSAB featured image with black dot in centre at foot of image slider

Also noticed that when you hover over the Featured Slider Image it always displays the text “Featured Image-1”. How do I get ride of this text?

Sorry, lots of questions. I hope you can help.

Strange as I’ve viewed on a number of devices/screen sizes and had same problem.
    My development device is a Mac 1366 x 768.

Brilliant, that’s nearly what I’m looking for however I’d still like the blog header before the picture. The picture is also shown like the cropped featured image, but I’d like the full image.

I’ve put together an example of what I’m looking for in the attached file:

Sorry about that: Google drive doc

Hope you can see this image. It’s the area between the 2 black arrows I want to reduce, preferably moving the bottom of this are up to where I’ve marked the green line. This will mean the breadcrumb trail area will just show at the size/height needed to display the breadcrumb.

No for that one post (though may be others in future), I want the image in the post to be displayed as there is no text in the blog post, simply the jpeg image.

If I make the jpeg in this post the featured image it looks a bit odd as you get the blog title on the left with nothing underneath and the featured image displayed to the right. This is why I’d like the image in the post to be displayed.

I’ve highlighted in black, the ‘height’ of the grey breadcrumb area that I’m referring to in the attached screenshot :

I can see what you did, change the padding around the highlighted current page in the breadcrumb trail. However it was the height of the overall breadcrumb trail I wanted to change to the dark grey area’s height is reduced.

I think I already tried that, but did try it again, but unfortunately it made no difference – No image shown on Home page for that blog post apart from the featured image, even although featured image is set as disabled for that post!

I understand what you’re saying about the contacting the plugin team,, so i’ll contact them.

As far as the breadcrumb area question is concerned – You’ll see in the example attached that the breadcrumb area shows ‘Home >> Page’ and this is shown in a grey area where the text is about half the height of the breadcrumb area’s height so there is a lot of ‘white-space’ below the breadcrumb trail text – I’d like to make the height of the breadcrumb area a better fit (i.e. reduce the height) for the text it displays. I hope you can help.

    HiPratik,

Yes it’s the blog post http://www.bsab.co.uk/Dev2017/?p=629 I’m referring to that I was the featured image to show on the home page under the header, as there’s no text on this blog page.

It was just this blog post I wanted to make the change for, so may have to reconsider how I do this now.

    Thanks for your help

Brilliant that worked a treat 🙂

Only issue I’m still having is the Site-Title is still displaying much smaller on the home page than on every other page. Any suggestions on how I fix this?

The error was happening every time I viewed the site. I activated the Parent theme and go no errors. I then reactivated the Child theme and now I’m no longer getting the error.

So the issue now seems to be resolved though now sure why! Thanks for your help Tikaram

I have now noticed that for #3 the site-title is displaying with the a large font on all pages other than the home page.

The other pages show in the size I’d expect (although do intend to reduce the size), as the home page page-title is far too small.
