Thank you, Tikaram. I am aware of that. However, there was a time when the post image showed up in the featured slider, when set to “Featured Post Slider.”

Now it seems, based on your prior instructions and the results, that only the set Featured Image shows up. Is there any way that the post image can be displayed in the Featured Slider?

This is why I asked if maybe someone else could assist because this was the way that this theme had functioned in the past.

Hi Tikaram,

I appreciate your help. I actually set the featured images, prior to contacting you. In fact most of them were still set and it still wasn’t working. The featured image is the overhead image….which, to me, should be more like scenery. I used to be able to have a featured image separate from the post image.

I did go in and make each post image a featured image as well, just to show you what I mean. It doesn’t look right. Plus there’s still one page (ID: 139, “How to Meditate…” that won’t show the correct image.)

I’ve been using this theme close to 3 years. The only thing that I am asking is that it have the same functionality that it always had. Is there anyone else that can possibly assist to help make the website look the way I originally set it?

The Twenty Seventeen Theme does not offer the featured slider post option. It’s a theme related issue.

Thank you! I will make a note of it. The photos in the media library were properly linked. It was only the post and page uploads. I needed to add labels to most of them anyway.

Actually, I moved from the test site May 1st. I have manually moved most of the images. Maybe I just need to changed the links in the slider? I will check.

I do not believe that I did anything new prior to these image issues. However, I updated plugins today.

More info: It’s not that the images have disappeared. They are not displaying properly. It seems to be all of the images that were uploaded prior to downloading the theme.

I thought so but when I saw the issue with the post slider and the music media file, I thought that it might be a theme issue.

The post slider pages are not displaying at all so you just see dots.

The images are still in the library however the many images have disappeared from posts and pages.

I prefer to manually attach the link in fb. Surprisingly, the image attached, when I posted the link yesterday. I think it is because I turned off the All In One SEO plugin.

Maybe I will have to try another SEO plugin.

My main objective is to have a different header for every single page so that every time a category is selected the viewer sees a different header. Please give back the support for random headers.

My fault! I thought these were separate issues. I was able to accomplish the random and featured headers in the free theme. Thanks for the email.

Hi Sakin,

I tried the pages and posts settings but it disables he header for all of the posts and archives. In the free theme, I was able to have random header images on the posts and the featured images that I set for certain pages overwrote the default image set in Appearance=> Header. I have also responded to your email.

FYI…I deleted the page and created a new one. The featured image was showing until I set it as my static front page. Now I am wondering if the the featured image slider has something to do with the problem.
