never mind – i figured it our by reading previous posts

Under Settings, Reading, there is an option to choose two static pages as the Front Page. This is confusing  How can there be two? Exactly what does Front Page imply,  if not the root domain Home page? Of the two Front page options, Front Page and Posts page, which one will be the true root domain home page?

AND now my problem. I’ve created a page, Blog Posts, and it’s displayed on my menu fine. But when I click on it, neither the text of the actual page, nor a running display of all my blog posts are shown. Nothing aside from the sites default heading is show.

Help! Any suggestions? I’m stuck.
