My next design project will be a highest quality 300-page+ (English alone, there may eventually be other languages) website for a top English school.

The design of it must be very clean and stylish, but it must be capable of having the following 4 characteristics… would any Catch Theme be suitable?

    • 8 or 9 categories or ‘chapters’ in the main horizontal nav bar.

    • Each ‘chapter’ page will have its own left side menu bar (accordian style with fine color rules between lines leading to between 12 and 50 pages).

    • Each chapter page will also have its own similar r/hand side sub-menu (accordian style)

    • Each chapter must have its own solid header colour (that is the area above the main horizontal nav bar).

@oly: Looking at your requirement non of the theme will have 100% fit. You need to adjust it. So look for the best fit theme and do the customization.

    Many thanks.

If I use a Catch Pro theme, would the best way to achieve the 8 or 9 sections/chapters be to create for each a separate template which would cover the coloured headers, but each would need its own side menus covering that sections pages….

but the back-end of WordPress/Everest Pro only allows for one Appearance > Available Widgets, how could the side menus be managed easily?

It’s been suggested I look into using WordPress Multihost, or using sub-domains, would catch Pro themes be okay with these?

@oly: Yes you can use it for multihost.

Many thanks, would it be possible for Everest Pro to be customised to give the option of l/hand and r/hand sidebar to appear on same page (ie three columns) in “Layout Options”?

@oly: Sorry we don’t have 3 columns layout. You need to customize and build it.
