Hi

I am trying to have a video banner display. I understand it will only show on the home page. (www.toomoofilms.com)

I’m confused as the video will only appear to play if I have the “recent posts” option selected rather than static page. Why is this?

Also, It appears that the video will only show if I have a header image selected. When the video does show, there is a faint watermark of the header image behind it.

I’ve tried several browsers, chrome, firefox etc all showing same symptoms.

Would really appreciate some advice, I’ve had it working before, now it doesn’t seem to.

The video should show up both when homepage is selected as recent posts or a static page.
Yes you will need to select a header image to display the header video.
It is the design of the theme that there is a faint header image behind the video. If you want you can remove it using a bit of CSS Code.

Regarding the header video appearing only when homepage is selected as recent posts. I will need to check your site to debug the issue. For that I will need your WP admin credentials. I will contact you shortly by email.

I checked your site and you seem to have Disabled the Header Featured Image Options on your We are Too Moo Films Page that is why the Header Video is not showing up when you have a static page selected.

Go to => Dashbord => Pages => Edit We are Too Moo Films Page => Header Featured Image Options => Enable

Let me know if this resolves the issue.

I’m still seeing a black image where the video or header image should be displayed at the top.

Does not appear to have resolved the issue.

@mikeymoo: You seem to have selected Header Featured Image Options => Disable when you edit We are Too Moo Films Page which I set Enabled. This solved the issue.
