Evolution pro shows up on the WP update screen. Current version 2.8 with 2.9 available. But when I try to update it says ‘update package not available.’ I’m assuming the package can be obtained on your website, but I don’t see where.

@Will: Please check theme instructions at http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-evolution-pro/ . You can download the update from your account at http://catchthemes.com/my-account/ and then you can use Catch Updater plugin http://catchthemes.com/wp-plugins/catch-updater/ to add that theme from “Appearance => Themes => Add New”. Detail instructions is there in Catch Updater plugin page.

Thanks, Sakin. I did all that and successfully uploaded the new version. But when I activate it, I lose my header, background, menu arrangement, etc. Is there a way to update without having to redo everything?

@Will: It’s strange as all the edits made in theme from Appearance => Theme Options panel should remain unchanged. Only the edits if you have made inside ‘catch-evolution-pro’ theme folder will be reverted back to original.
