    I am trying to create an image gallery on my website: pwaphotography.com. I am using Elementor to build the site. I have purchased Bold Photography Pro and added the Catch Gallery Plug-in, installed and activated. For the gallery I have created a page titled Black & White. I was able to add images using Elementor’s standard gallery widget but I have not been able to figure out how to use the Catch Gallery plug-in. I read through the Support articles several times and tried to do the Edit Page => Add New Block => Formatting => Classic => Add New Media route but cannot find those options on my Dashboard or Menu bar. Keep going in circles that lead no where.

    I can add a new block to the page with Elementor with no problem but then what do I do? Shouldn’t the Catch Gallery plug-in show up in the widgets gallery on the left sidebar?

    Or shouldn’t I be able to open Catch Gallery from the Dashboard while on that page and add images?

    Seem to be missing info or a step.

    Thanks!

    Peter

    @pwasea: Hello there,
    It is not possible to use Catch Gallery with the Elementor editor. You will need to use WP editor to setup a catch gallery.
    Please follow the instrcutions under the Instructions tab in this link.

    Let me know if you are still issues using Catch Gallery.
    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    Skandha –

    I deleted Elementor and it’s associated plug-ins. That helped a bit but unfortunately I am still not able to fully use Catch Gallery. The selected images appear in a grid but during the process of creating the gallery there is no option to select “type” — the gallery displays only in a fixed grid of equal size images. I can select the size of the images and the number of rows but that is it.

    Also the grid is static — when you click on an image no larger image appears, no arrows appear to move through the gallery.

    Again — I feel as if there is a step I am missing. I have followed all the steps in the link you sent but as I said there is no opportunity to select a type of gallery.

    Thanks!

    Skandha –

    Checking back — my previous post may have not been clear — I followed the steps outlined in the link you sent but do not see the option to select “type” when creating a gallery. As a result there is no gallerym, there is jsut a static block of images.

    Do you have nay thoughts on why I am not seeing the “type” option?

    @pwasea: Hello Peter,
    Can you please post in your site URL where you are trying to use Catch Gallery?

    Are you not able to see Gallery option when you click on Create a New Gallery button?

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    That is correct — I do not see a Gallery Option.

    Here is the link to the site I am working on but all I have there now is a Home Page. I just posted a test gallery page:

    Here is a link to the page as I was creating it showing the lack of gallery option.
