    Hi all,

We finally paid for an upgrade to Catch Box Pro, and so I want to implement the new abilities. However, I’m a little unclear on the upgrading process within the admin panel.

I manually ftp’d the catch-box-pro folder up to the themes folder. However, when I go into admin I have catch-box, catch-box-child and catch-box-pro folders, and then when I go into the admin panel I see all three themes. Obviously, if I click on the Pro theme to activate it, it will be pro. But, what about any of the changes I made on my child theme (albeit minimal at best)? Do I simply change the name of the child them, and then change the hooks in the style.css file to point to the pro folder/theme?

    Thanks!

    Robert

    Never mind.

I ended up using a plugin to create a new child, and then went from there.

Would have deleted this post, though I don’t see a way to do that. 🙁

@robertjm: Sorry for not being clear. Child theme is depended of Parent Theme. So, if it’s the child theme of free theme then you need to change the template. Child theme of Catch Box will have template as catch-box where as the child theme of Catch Box Pro will have template as catch-box-pro. For more check out child theme article at http://catchthemes.com/blog/create-child-theme-wordpress/
