    Hi,
    I have a build a page where I input 10 thumbnails with caption. Two issues with this:

    1. The size of the box border always depends on how much text is in the caption. So the longer the text, the higher the box. Is there a way I can make all boxes the same size? Meaning, that the boxes with shorter captions have some white space before the bottom border?

    2. I have input 10 thumbnails behind each other, and depending on the screensize, you can usually see 3 to 5 per row. The issue here is that sometimes the first picture of a row doesn’t start at the left side, but somehow gets stuck under a picture above with a long caption, and shows up on the 3rd or 4th spot in a row, and everything to the left is blank. How do I solve this?

    Cheers!

    @Michaela: If you want to add more thumbnail image then please it it as Gallery or use responsive columns plugins to separate the columns. If you add individual images with caption, then yes it will display like that.

    For Gallery see this http://codex.wordpress.org/The_WordPress_Gallery
    Further, you can use Jetpack plugin and active “Tiles Galleries” module to ake it beautiful gallery.

    Thanks Sakin.
    The gallery option is good, but is there a way how I can make links out of the captions? By clicking either on the picture or the caption the reader should be able to get to another website.
    Which responsive columns plugin are you talking about?
    I’d love to use Jetpack, but I can’t connect to wordpress.com to get it started. And there is no way to contact those developers. Any idea/contacts at Jetpack?
    Cheers

    @Michaela:
    Yes, in Gallery you cannot link to another website.
    You can search for free plugin at http://wordpress.org/plugins/. See these http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=Responsive+Columns&sort= and http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=Responsive+Tables&sort=
    To connect Jetpack to WordPress.com. First you need to open WordPress.com account and then if you have any cache plugin, disable that and the try connecting it.

    Thanks Sakin. I’ll try some of those plugins.
    I finally found out why Jetpack didn’t work for me: it’s not compatible with EasyRotator plugin.

    I did a little research and found a great plugin for adding links to a normal WP gallery: WP Gallery Custom Links
