A site that uses the image slider seems to move up and down depending on the photo size, text description, whether there is a hyper link to “Read more.” It is distracting as the stable image and content below it continues to move up or down depending on the resizing of the slider window. Is there a way to stabilize the window and just have more or less blank space there depending on its image size and text? We also added Catch IDs plugin. COuld that have an effect on the constant sizing. Here is the homepage:

@dbevarly: It’s because you have different size of image and also the excerpt text length is also different. So, you can match those image and text and it will be fine.

Sakim – Yeah. That is what I thought and have suggested to the client. I was hoping there was an option to size the slider layout instead of just “normal” or “full.” (you might want to think about adding that feature). Anyway, thank you for the prompt response (that I’ve become to associate with you). It is very much appreciated. Dan

@dbevarly: If you use page or post or category slider then it will automatically crop image to equal sizes. But for image slider, it gives user to add different sizes of image. So, we cannot control on this. This section is for the users.

Yes. I see those other options. We’ll give it a try. Thank you for suggesting the options.
