@Susie: You can just add or remove widgets in Header Right Sidebar from “Appearance => Widgets”. If you just want search then you can just drag and drop search widget in Header Right Sidebar.

Hi! I have my search bar and social icons in the widget side bar (which is where I want them), but they are also in the header and I don’t know how to remove them. Can you please tell me how to get them out of the header? Thanks!

@BusyB: The easy option to remove and add items in header right section is easy if you upgrade to Pro version where you have have Header Right Sidebar and then you can add and remove widgets from “Appearance => Widgets”.

But in this free version in your site http://www.thebusybhomemaker.com/, we can only hide it by adding the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
#header .social-search { display: none; }
