    I am using the everest theme on wp 3.5.1

    Google page speed insights is telling me that image scaling on the images in the post slider and featured front page content is being re-sized by the html or the css and looks to be taking lots of resources. is this unavoidable when using these special features?

    @jonSellers: This is responsive theme and there will be image scaling as per the screen size used.
