My site: http://www.fhastronomy.org/
Shortcode Bug:
For some reason I can not use standard WordPress shortcodes in your theme on my pages. So I can not manually set my blog page to show posts with [display-posts] shortcode. It shows the code and not my blog posts. So to temporary fix this issue I set in the theme options Static Front Page to:
Front Page: – select – (nothing selected)
Post page: Blog (blog posts show on my blog page) No standard shortcodes work on the site.Second Problem: When I set my post page to Blog it adds Blog to the homepage browser tab title. How do I remove the page name from my homepage’s browsers tab title?
In the browser tab my homepage says: Blog – Fountain Hills Astronomy.
How do I remove the “Blog -“ portion?
June 21, 2015 at 10:24 am #59867SakinKeymaster@Kaydev: WordPress Theme shouldn’t support shortcodes see this https://make.wordpress.org/themes/handbook/review/required/explanations-and-examples/.
Also the shortcode
[display-posts]
is not from WordPress core. It’s from plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/display-posts-shortcode/. So, you need to activate this plugin to use that shortcode. For title, it take from your site title and page title. So, you need to edit that. Further, you can use plugin like http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/ to edit your SEO/Browser title.

When I do this your theme becomes broken.
FYI when I check the box on your forum here to receive notification no emails are being sent out.
