How can I style testimonials? When I edit one, it has a black background. When they appear in the slider, they all have a black background.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks!

Right now, we’re using a “Custom Post Type” for Testimonials and when they appear in the slider on the home page, they have a black background. Since the text excerpt that appears is also black, you can’t really read the text. Our home page background is white and the default paragraph color (the “Main text” color) is black.
Ideally, I would want to have the Testimonial background be white, like the page background, and maybe have a border around it. If I must use custom CSS for this, that’s fine, but I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss an existing configuration item that sets these attributes.
Thanks!

Can you go to the Color Options and try changing the Secondary Background Color. This should change the background color of the frame of testimonial content.Let me know if this is what you want!
Kind Regards,

I do suggest giving the color options better names. 🙂 Does that “Secondary Background Color” also apply to the “Leave a Comment” box, if comments are enabled for a page or a post?
Thanks again!

Yes, that should change the background color for the comment box as well.
I am afraid that it would be difficult to give better names because a single color option changes the color on lot of elements. So you will need to check in the customizer where the colors are getting changed.Kind Regards,
