Hello,
I have acquired the pro version of Catch Full Screen.
Before that I have build the site using a child theme created from the free version (using the Child Theme Configurator extension).
Now that I have installed the Pro version, my child theme still says I need to upgrade to Pro.
I tried to export my settings from my child theme with your Catch Import Export, but of course, on importing data back on the catch full screen pro template, I only get an alert saying « Error importing settings! The settings you uploaded are not for the current theme. »
So my question is,
#1 how come my child theme does not recognize the Pro version
#2 What is the best way to upgrade without loosing all the work I have done.Thank you for your attention

Go to => Child Theme Folder => style.css
change the textTemplate: catch-fullscreen
withTemplate: catch-fullscreen-pro
or with name of the pro theme folder. This should retain all your child theme customization to the pro version of the theme.
Let me know if this works out!
Kind Regards,

I thought so but it did not work right away even when I emptied caches. I had to change theme back to pro and then select again my child theme for it to be “upgraded” thanks.
One thing though, I exported the theme with the export tool, on reimport had the same error. I had to modify the .dat file to put in the right template id and name it.
Still it did not get all my settings, which I believe is due to having more options in Pro.
So I have to reassign elements to each home page section. But when I do that I get a “changeset_post_save_failure” message and cannot publish. What could be wrong?

You cannot import your cutomizer setting file of free theme to the pro version of the theme.
When you upgrade to pro all the customizer settings should automatically be retained in the pro version.Let me know if this helps you out!
Kind Regards,

Now, I am reassigning things but as I mentioned when I do that I get a “changeset_post_save_failure” message and cannot publish.
So I am stuck can you tell me what is wrong?May 29, 2019 at 6:29 am #173652 -
