    Post doesn’t show on Posts page. There should be an excerpt of the post showing on Posts page under the Posts Menu but there is none. Empty page.

    @lawrenceblair : Your homepage is displaying posts. If you would like to display post on Posts page you can do it from the customizer. Go to Appearance => Customize => Homepage Settings
    Under Your homepage displays : Select A static page.
    Under Posts page : select post and save and publish

    Let me know if this resolves your issue.

    You solved my problem.
    I then made a category grid to show my post images and excerpt.
    So far so good.
