Hi @sakin,

Is there a way to make the home page display full content while all others show excerpts only? Is this a setting that I am missing, or do I need to add some code for it?

@shuttergirl: What do you mean by this? All pages and post will definitely show full content. If you want your homepage to show full content then you can do that from “Appearance => Theme Options => Layout Option => Content Layout”.

I only want the full content on the home page. I would like to do excerpts only everywhere else, archives, categories, etc. Right now, I seem to be able to only get it to be all full content or all excerpt only.

@shuttergirl: We don’t have that option. For that you need to build child theme and work on it. So, if you don’t do coding then you might need to hire customizer.

Oh, wow. For some reason I assumed this was default for all themes, especially for SEO reasons. Maybe I used other themes that did it? Well, I learned something new today. Hmmm….I’ve put so much work into this that I hate to walk away from it. I can follow instructions and copy and paste code, but I’m not a coder. I will google around and see what I can find.
