Hi, I’ve just purchased the pro version and when I enable the news ticker and select posts, I can’t get anything to display. How do I go about putting the right ID in the post field?

@davejf: Please use Catch-IDs plugin to get post ids when you edit posts. Then you can add the post ids in the news ticker section.

Thanks Skandha, I can now got the ID’s. I’ve found a further issue, with the ticker and the features slider. They both work well with the demo options on my site, but when I use them to feature posts or put the post on the ticker they only work if I change my page layout to one without a primary sidebar. The demo’s for the ticker and features slider work Ok with a sidebar and I had no issues with the free issue in in using the slider or the ticker.

Could it be a problem with the download. When I downloaded from the site earlier the download came across as an ordinary folder and not a zip and I had to make my own zip file.

I’ve discovered what the issue is. I’m using a standard wordpress gallery widget in my primary sidebar. When I have that set to slide show there must be a conflict between that show and the slider and ticker. When I set the slideshow to any other format (e.g. tiled), the ticker and slider work OK.
