so far I can only choose from 4 Optional Sidebars; I need more. How can I get more choices. (I have already created the sidebar in Widgets and given it visibility for the page, I just can’t see it among my choices when I’m in page edit mode).

You will need to create a child theme and do a bit of customization to add more optional sidebars. Let me know if you are familiar with child theme customizations otherwiser I suggest you to hire a customizer to get it done.

I do have a child theme running; I am a little bit familiar with CSS and HTML customizations.

Could you give me some instructions please? If I can’t do it, then I’ll look into a customizer.

Go to => Child Theme Folder => functions.php and add the code in this link.

Then,

Go to => Child Theme Folder => create a file sidebar.php and add the code in this link.
