    Greetings!

I was using Adventurous Free with the supported child theme and made all my customizations in the child theme. I upgraded to Pro and the customizations are gone if the Pro theme is activated. If the Child theme is activated, I don’t have the added benefits of Pro.

What am I missing? Is there an Adventurous Pro Child Theme that I need to install and make the customizations on?

    Thanks!

@queenbuzzy: For that all you have to do is go to your free child theme folder, open your style.css file and edit Template: to adventurous-pro or the name of the folder which contains the pro theme. This should bring all your customizations to the pro theme.

Let me know if this solves your issue.

    Hi Skandha,

It doesn’t look like that worked. I went into appearance –> Editor –> style.css and changed:
    Template: adventurous
    to
    Template: adventurous-pro

    As you suggested.

There is no difference in the theme options. Particuarly, I’m looking to change the footer copyright date. When I am in the customization area, it still has the option to upgrade to Adventurous-Pro, and there is no option to edit the footer in Appearance=> Customize=> Theme Options=> Footer Editor Options

    Please advise. Thank you!

    Nevermind 🙂

Apparently I’m not patient enough. It looks like after I deleted the Adventurous Free theme, all of the settings have carried to the Child theme from Pro.

    Thanks for your assistance!
