ParticipantHello,
The URL is Hagmeijer.nlI want to have the main menu in the header top position. When I position the main menu in the header main position, the menu occurs on the right place. But if I want to click on one of the menu items, the menu bar with items dissapear.
On the same site I installed the catch store pro theme and there is no problem. But it is quiet a job to change themes.
Is there a solution for this problem?Kind regards

ParticipantHello Skandha,
I thought the problem occurs in the header top menu only.
I could not work with the problem, so I have reset the menu to header right.
And: the problem stays.
Maybe a more detailed description.
If I scroll a bit to the top, so that the menu items are on the edge of the screen of my laptop I can click on them.
If there is a bit of white space between the head lines and the menu items the items dissapear .
It looks like the connection has gone.Kind regards

ParticipantHello Skandha,
Please close this topic.
I explain: after many discussions one decides to use the “old” header right menu.
This is because there are new possibilities to expose Tableau dashboards.
I can use the standard theme layout now.
Sorry for bothering you and thank you for patience, but it wasn’t my idea.Have a good weekend.

ParticipantHello Skandha,
I can understand, that you are not able to understand at once which problem it concerns.
And maybe it has all to do with my amateuristisch trying to make make the header a bit more to the top of the screen and the right site a bit more to the end of screen. I tried this with extra css:body { margin-left:-30px !important; margin-right: -10px !important;
}
body { margin-top:-5px !important; margin-bottom: 0px !important;
}This has to do with the question if it is possible to have a standard website in landscape on mobile.
The result was a wider screen.
To understand the problem I made three screenshots.
In step 1 you see the “normal” menu: the head menu with some menu items.

IN step 2 you see what happens after moving the cursor towards the menu-items: they are gone.

In step 3 I scroll the total screen a bit upwards so that the menu items “touch” the screen’s edge. Now they stay.

Participant@toerfiets: Hello Hans,
Can you check if the issue exist when you are logged out of your WP Admin?Kind Regards,
SkandhaOctober 1, 2021 at 7:48 am #291544Hans
ParticipantYes, Then it also occurs, Skandha.
I thought I sent you an email this morning, but I see now this has not been happened.
Please close this item, because one get the thought to use the default theme layout.
This is, because Tableau (BI software) has changed the possibility to use the dashboards on a way that they fit every screen.
Now I can use the default layout, with the default header right menu.
You can imagine that I was a little upset when I heard that.
It costed a lot of time and now changing isn’t necessary anymore.Thank you for the support and sorry for the trouble.
Have a nice weekend.
Kind regards
Hans Hagmeijer
