I’m using catch box box pro 2.4 (I have many tweaks and afraid to upgrade at the moment to 2.7)

I’m using the features slider on tthe homepage only, and uses posts to accumulate it.

also I’ve selected the “Exclude Slider post from Homepage posts” options.

So, the problem is once I want’s also to use the “Make this post sticky” option for the rest of my posts in the homepage it wont work. all the posts (exept the ones in the slider) are showing.

@udisa: If you haven’t customize any theme core files such as index.php, functions.php, style.css and so on then updating is not a problem. All your customization done through Theme Options panel and child theme will remain intact.

I am bit confused about your question. Are you trying to show only features post in the homepage. Then you can create the category for example Featured and then assign all the posts that you want to show in homepage to Featured Category. Then go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Homepage/Frontpage Category Settings” and select the category Featured and save it. This will make your homepage to show posts from Features Category only.
