    hey mate

    Got a question about adding mail chimps subscribe to list code to the footer editor. I thought they where both HTML so would work fine but i just get all the code in my footer and not the subscribe form.

    Most likely me doing some think wrong!!

    here’s an example of there embed code, i get this lot in my footer.

    <!– Begin MailChimp Signup Form –>
    <link href=”//cdn-images.mailchimp.com/embedcode/slim-081711.css” rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css”>
    <style type=”text/css”>
    #mc_embed_signup{background:#fff; clear:left; font:14px Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; }
    /* Add your own MailChimp form style overrides in your site stylesheet or in this style block.
    We recommend moving this block and the preceding CSS link to the HEAD of your HTML file. */
    <div id=”mc_embed_signup”>
    <form action=”http://podomatic.us5.list-manage.com/subscribe/post?u=f411b7ec7db59a6a39ae75b39&id=f80e649902&#8243; method=”post” id=”mc-embedded-subscribe-form” name=”mc-embedded-subscribe-form” class=”validate” target=”_blank” novalidate>
    <label for=”mce-EMAIL”>Subscribe to our mailing list</label>
    <input type=”email” value=”” name=”EMAIL” class=”email” id=”mce-EMAIL” placeholder=”email address” required>
    <!– real people should not fill this in and expect good things – do not remove this or risk form bot signups–>
    <div style=”position: absolute; left: -5000px;”><input type=”text” name=”b_f411b7ec7db59a6a39ae75b39_f80e649902″ value=””></div>
    <div class=”clear”><input type=”submit” value=”Subscribe” name=”subscribe” id=”mc-embedded-subscribe” class=”button”></div>

    <!–End mc_embed_signup–>

    @chris: You can add this in Footer Area One. Go to “Appearance => Widgets” and drag and drop “Text Widget” or “Catcheveret: Advertisement” widget and add the code.

    thanks mate. massive!!
