I’ve been using the Photo Journal free version for a couple years.  I just purchased pro.  The confirmation page gave me a link to my invoice pdf.  That’s it.  No email.  No instructions on what to do next.  Feel like I’ve just been left hanging.

SO, what do I do now that I’ve purchased pro?   I don’t want to try to figure out this myself, but I don’t want to mess up my website.  I like step by step instructions when I purchase something.

I had no idea anyone responded to my question.  I used to get email alerts when someone answered my questions.  I’m not sure what changed.

Anyway, I got Pro uploaded.  I’m in Customize.  The preview area doesn’t look like my site and all the work I’ve already done. It’s back to the default header and font etc…  I’m scared to death to activate.  I’m currently using a childtheme of free photo journal pro that I made.  My site is giacarangilivedhere.org   I was going to attach a screenshot of the customize page and how it looks, but it doesn’t look like I can.  All my previous settings are gone.  Is this going to mess up my website?

(I will make a childtheme of Pro once it’s activated.)

@maresrmo: Did you check “Notify me of follow-up replies via email”? Maybe you missed that option in this forum so you didn’t get notified.

let me check why it went to default. Maybe as you were using a child theme.
