    Hello there,

I am creating a website using Catch Evolution. Though I really like the Buddha that comes with it, I would like to have another image on the homepage.

I have uploaded 20 images to the Media library, but I cannot see any of them. The library shows a listing of jpg-files with their specifics, but I cannot actually see any of the images. I cannot select any of the for the homepage either. I just shows up blank.

Does anybody recognise this problem? I have been trying to figure out what went wrong all day now, but I just don’t know what I’m looking for.

    Sincerely,
    Karen

@Karen Drost: See the Catch Evolution theme instruction at http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-evolution/.

The Buddha image in the header is the Custom Header than you can change it from “Appearance => Header”.

@Sakin: I have read the instruction and done exactly what is described. Still, no image. Just an empty placeholder where the image ought to be 🙁

@Karen Drost: Post in your site URL and then I will check in. You need to upload the image from “Appearance => Header”, after you upload select the area in image which you want to show in and click on “Crop and Publish” then click on save changes. This will replace it.

Hi Sakin, sorry to take so long to get back to you. I just don’t have enough hours in the day…

The website I’m working on is at http://zolder.karendrost.nl/bosruiters/

The trouble is that I have already done what you describe, but in the Crop and Publish part, the system doesn’t show me the image. Or any image I’ve uploaded for that matter.

I could email you a login and password so you can have a look behind the scenes if you like.

I did a little experiment elsewhere in the website, and the problem occurs everywhere. I can upload images, but they show up as empty squares in the Library. When I edit an image, it will show in edit-mode, but I cannot save it. And when I add the image to a page, it shows as a broken image…

@Karen Drost: It might be your server issues. Can you change to other theme and check in. I have just send in email. You can send me your site access there.
