    Hello,

Is it possible to create a HTML field just before the footer shows? I would love to place my Instagram snapwidget there, not showing a slideshow of one picture after another, but a full line of pictures (maybe 6 or 7) over the page.

Or is it possible to use the footer, when not devided in 4 widgets?

    I hope I made it clear what I mean…

    Thanx,
    Martine.

    Hi @de-diy-diva,
There are two ways you can do this:
    Easy Way:
Either you can use only one footer widget, remove others. This will make the footer one width. This of course will make your other footer widgets unusable.
    Tough but possible way
You can make modifications via child theme. For that, you need to first learn about child theme. For that, please read our post: http://catchthemes.com/blog/create-child-theme-wordpress/.
If you are comfortable with creating a child theme, let me know and I will guide you further.

Great, after you create a child theme, add this code: http://pastebin.com/XGj5bSF6 in your child theme’s functions.php file and there should be a new Sidebar “Footer Top” that will fulfill your needs.
