    Is it possible to change the size of images that are automatically generated under Recent Posts on the homepage/frontpage from Featured Images? I’d like them to be smaller.

    Thank you for any help!

    Oh, yes, forgot to do that. Sorry!

    My questions are:
    (1) Can the size of the automatically generated photos (from Featured Images of individual pages) be changed
    (2) Can the number of columns be changed, like from 3 to 4 or 5?

    Thank you!

    @gillian: Hello Gillian,
    1) Can you let me know what image size you would like to use?

    2) I am afraid that is not possible.

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    Hi Skandha,

    Actually I don’t mind what size they are, as long as they are smaller! but if the number of columns can’t be changed, then really, it’s only the aspect ratio that can be played with, right?

    Thank you,

    @gillian: Hello Gillian,
    To change the image size you will need to create a child theme and do a little bit of customization. Let me know if you are familiar with child theme customization.

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    No, I am not familiar with child theme customization, but I am dying to learn about it. It’s inevitable and I want to embrace it. Would you be willing to guide me through it? And, will I be able to change the number of columns too?

    Thank you, again, Skandha. Your help and patience are much appreciated.
