Hi,

I haven’t looked at my website since a month or so, but I now see that the header video is totally out of whack:
It is uncentered, not aligned with text, a huge white space in text, the play button is off-centered and when resizing the browser it does neither move (so disappears if browser borders are dragged over it). It used to be flush and tight above the text, so something has changed, but I cannot find out what. No settings or CSS have been able to solve it so far.

As you can see, the video now streches far too large. Would you have any idea what would the problem?

Hi there @Skandha – thanks for you quick reply.

The video header only shows a part of the video: only the left, just less than half of it.
I.e. it doesn’t scale properly to the width of the page. I hope this clarifies.

I’ve checked on both Mac and Windows (both same issue), and android (no video).

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

.has-header-video .custom-header-media .wp-custom-header video {
    object-fit: unset;
}

The header video looks a bit stretched on mobile view on certain screen dimensions. But I think this is the best that can be done to make the video responsive.

@Skandha Hmm. Not from where I am looking – no video on Mobile and only the left side on Desktop. I’ll just have to remove the video. Too bad.
