    How can this be — my desktop is a Vista, and the notebook I’m using is an HP Chrome?

    @Bouncedancer: Sorry I don’t get it what you mean. Can you explain with your site URI and you can share screenshot.

    I have screenshots but can’t figure out how to display the links here from my computer (the img button above this asks for an URL, but I don’t know how that applies to images on my computer).

    However, I haven’t published the blog yet — I could send you the sign-in info thru an email from a previous ticket, unless you want to start up a new ticket for this. In this email I can attach the 2 relevant images that show how the header fills the screen on my computer and laptop but has lots of space at each end on the Chromebook. I guess I should check how it would look on a smartphone.

    Thank you for all your help.

    @Bouncedancer: You can upload screenshot in any photo sharing site and paste the URL here. We use Pinterest for Screenshots http://www.pinterest.com/catchthemes/

    I sent u an email w/links to 2 screenshots, as well as sign-info for you to look into why the phone number in the footer runs together with no hyphens or parantheses.

    Thank you much.

    Perfect header vs. too-narrow header

    Did I do the links above right? I pinned both images on the same page.

    That doesn’t look right — let me try this.

    I tried to submit the links first via the “img” button, then the “link” button, but neither looks right on this page, so I’ll resend the Pinterest link via email, which should have both images.

    @Bouncedancer: Oh ok now I got it. It’s because of the screen resolution. You Chromebook screen resolution is higher then vista. So, to make it both look like the same. You need to upload the bigger size header image. For full width header image, I recommend you to add image with 1190px width. You current header image width is only 990px width.

    That’s the highest setting that is allowed when uploading a header image, 990 x 180.

    @Bouncedancer: The suggested size is 1600px.Also you can see in your demo page http://catchthemes.com/demo/catch-evolution/ we have added 1600px width header image.

    The header I uploaded is the widest image I have. What do I do now — is this where I get a customization quote? A webmaster?

    @Bouncedancer: Then you need to reduce the size of your wrapper and site. So that you can add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.

    @media screen and (min-width: 1061px) {
    	.wrapper {
    		width: 900px;
    	}
    	#primary {
    		width: 530px;
    	}
    	#secondary {
    		width: 340px;
    	}
    }

    I copied the above into the Custom CSS box, but nothing changed. But rather than having you spend so much time on this, I hired an occasional VA thru freelancer.com who I’m going to sic on this.

    @Bouncedancer: That’s fine.
