I cannot add a header image to the blog page, doesn’t it work like the other pages ?

It does work on the blog page as well.
Go to => Dashboard => Pages => Edit your blog page, Select a Featured Image and Update the page.

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Header Media => Enable on => Select Entire Site, Page/Post Featured Image and Publish.

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Header Media => Enable on => Select Excluding Homepage, Page/Post Featured Image and Publish.
