    I am using the Verity theme and there are 3 footers available. I am using first for social media links, second for blog subscription widget and would like to use third for my copyright. For some reason the footers are appearing next to each other instead of stacked. I would like the copyright to be locked to the bottom of every page.

    Any suggestions for how to do this? It’s ok if the first two footers remain side-by-side. But the copyright should appear at the bottom. Also is there some CSS that will make the copyright update each year?

    Thanks!!!

    @ipseity: Hello there,
    Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and remove the following CSS Code.

    .site-info {
        display: none;
    }

    Then,
    Remove the text widget you have added on the Footer 3 widget area.

    Let me know if this works out!
    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    It worked, however I would like to customize what it says. Also is there a way to have it update the years?

    This is what I would like it to read: Copyright © 2019-2021, ipseity™️, LLC . All Rights Reserved.

    With no mention of Verity by Catch Themes and the 2021 to update each future year.

    Thanks for your help!!

    @ipseity: Hello there,
    I am afraid the Footer Editor Option is only available in the pro version of the theme. I suggest you to upgrade to pro. You can check out the additional-features available in the theme.

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    I don’t really have any use for any of the other features listed. Is there a plugin or something that allows me to edit the footer? or another way you suggest adding a bar of text at the bottom of my site?

    thank you.

    @ipseity: Hello there,
    I am not sure is that possible. You will need to find a suitable plugin from the WordPress Plugin Repository.

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    None of the plugins would work but I was able to add it to the footer.php file. Is there a way to add to that file to get it centered and maybe that same purple background from the above widgets?
